The send mail step is used to send the mail to SAP Inbox.
Assumption is that we have already workflow defined and now trying to add Send Mail to a workflow.
Adding Send Mail step type Workflow.
- The recipients are added in the expression tab.
- Right Click on the branch and select the Send mail step.
- Select the WF_INITIATOR in expression tab and provide the subject and body of the mail. Now if we want to provide the dynamic values in the subject or body we need to DC on the icon present below subject or body area , besides check icon. Once open we can dynamically select the variable from the Workflow container element and the value which will be present at run time will get displayed.
- Now save the step and provide the abbreviation and Name to the step.
- The send mail step has been created in Reject branch.
- Test and execute the Workflow.
- Reject the workitem.
- The mail will be present in Documents tab of SAP Business Workplace (SBWP.)
