Report category:The Report Category specifies which master data fields are displayed on the selection screens of evaluation reports in Human Resources(HR).

You can create report categories for programs or queries that are based on the PNP or PNPCE logical databases.
  1. Steps to create customer-specific Report categories
    1. Go to SPRO transaction and follow the below steps


    2. Click on New Entries application button
    3. Give report category name, description. Uncheck For Logical database PNPCE. It means we are creating for PNP. After few ENTERs, we will see the below screen and follow the step as marked.
    4. Double click on allowable selection criteria
    5. Click on New Entries application button
    6. Enter Select-Options and check the check box and SAVE. It asks for transport. Give proper description.
  2. How to assign Report Category to Report
    1. Create report by specifying logical database PNP.
    2. Goto -> Attributes
    3. Goto -> Attributes->Click on Report Category button
    4. You will see the below selection screen for newly created Report Category
